Step
1. Examine the shape of the
injury by using unthreaded inserting
tool to determine if puncture is
slanted or straight.. To prepare
puncture for CHEMI-CURE, place tire
tool into center of palm of hand and
rotate in the largest circle
possible. Remove tool and follow the
5 steps below.
Step 2. To thread the tool put
a strand into the eye of the tool.
With the thumb and index finger,
slide the tool eye to the center of
the strand.
Step 3a. If the puncture is a
ROUND HOLE, hold both ends of the
strand against one side of the
tool. Insert tool slowly and all
the way into the puncture.
Step
3b. If the puncture is a CUT,
hold the strand on each side of the
tool, in a V-Shape. Insert slowly
(do not twist on a cut) and continue
to step 6.
Step 3c. For larger holes use
two strands in tool and continue to
step 6.
Step 4. Move the tool until it
is flush with the tire.
Step 5. Turn the tool one and
one-half turns (three twists).
Step 6. Withdraw the tool
slowly just until the end of the
tool clears the tire. Cut the
strand flush with the tire surface.
* Note RIM
LEAKS: Can use strands where rim leaks
are found around the bead of the tire. The
tire can then be inflated to specifications.
